Dan Kennedy: How To Live The Internet Lifestyle - A Shortcut

By Neeraj Varma

In Dan Kennedy's information marketing course Brian McElroy reveals his secret to making $500,000 in 18 months loving his life on the beach in Rio de Janeiro. Brian has money, time and health, thanks to information marketing.

Is Brian McElroy a genius? He doesn't say so. "You have to hook up with people who are already highly successful and start working with them", said Brian.

As Dan Kennedy's partner, Rob Toth interviewed several highly successful information marketing "experts". Rob created a course called "Future Of Information Marketing". There's some great information in these interviews and I have summarized some of them for you. However, for a limited time you can get the whole course for FREE so you have all the original interviews as well as transcripts.

Rob discovered Brians secret to succeeding wildly in a short period of time during the interview. Like so many others, Brian had been buying courses upon courses and not doing anything with them. People buy all these expensive courses and don't even open the book or watch the videos.

If you want success "you have to start working with highly successful people so you can learn their business model". All the information that people have access to provide a lot of choices on which path to take. Choice can be a good thing but it can also distract a person so they never focus on anything and never get anything done. If you want to avoid information overload you need to commit to working with someone.

"You need to provide a highly valued service to them so you build up your contacts", said Brian. "Align with them...partner with them, get on their mentoring programs..."

Brian said that one of his biggest challenges was time management. He could never really find any time to put into building his business because he was working in a job. Recognizing that as his biggest problem, Brian decided to concentrate on getting organized. After taking many courses and really applying them he came to the conclusion that "people have too much going on in their life. They don't have time to take on a new project." He then started to eliminate things from his life to free up his time. "You have to focus on one project at a time and make it successful before you move on to the next", said Brian.

When he got himself organized he said he could "then focus on providing value to his mentors". This was his secret: getting organized personally, then finding an excuse to work with or for a highly successful information marketer.

Now that he has achieved success he is happy with "living on the beach in Rio de Janeiro, living the Internet lifestyle." His decision to follow a "rigorous schedule" really paid off.
