By Brent Sweet

Articles are one of the more effective tools you can use to market your business. First off they are free to post on many directories, people do read them, and the increase your credibility as a professional. The number on factor to getting the most out of an article is writing a good, informative, article. If your article is a sales pitch, you are not promoting your website, you are just attempting to get a sale.

There are Several Benefits to Article Marketing:

Online Business Credibility " Providing information to your readers through articles shows people you know about your field or industry. This builds your reputation and raises awareness of your brand. The result of this is that people trust your products, or recommendations if you are an affiliate marketer.

Increase Inbound Links " Professional SEOs use article marketing to increase the relative one way links to your site. This is like food for the search engines. The resource box at the end of your article contains your information and a link to your site. To publish your article, the resource box has to be left intact. The proof of Effective Article Marketing:

I want to restate that the most important thing is that you write an informative article, not a pitch. If you want proof of your marketing and how often your article is published, just search for the title in quotes on the major search engines. This will tell you how many times it was published. Make sure you do this about 1-2 months after submitting or you won't see all the results. Webmasters are more likely to publish informative articles, not sales pitches.

Once you have submitted a few articles you will see your marketing spiral if you article is done correctly. There are thousands of webmasters who use articles for content on their sites.

If you hire somebody to do optimization for you, they usually will provide a report of all the submissions they have done. A lot of these services will charge either a flat fee for one article, or will submit multiple articles as part of a subscription. You need to go out right now and find these services, it is time you get your business on track and noticed!
