Skip The IM Market - Dan Kennedy Information Marketing Secret

By Neeraj Varma

Dylan Loh is making six-figures per month within three years of starting to market Clickbank affiliate products. Not focusing on selling Internet marketing products is key to his success.

As part of Dan Kennedy's Info Riches course Rob Toth interviewed Dylan for the "Future Of Information Marketing" audio series. Several top Information marketers were interviewed for this program.

According to Dylan the market for selling Internet marketing products is getting to be really crowded and very competitive. The problem will only get worse as more and more people discover that it is possible to make good money on the Internet.

Dylan says that "the pie is definitely big enough" so more people can enter the market and be profitable. But, he says, "with three or four launches in the same week and sometimes in the same day it's increasingly competitive".

"It's relatively easier in non-Internet-marketing niches", says Dylan. If you look real hard in Clickbank you will find lots and lots of good niche products to promote. Dylan says "my philosophy is that I always get them (new clients) to start off in the other niches then it's easier to enter and get the feel of it". After they have achieved some success they can go back to the Internet marketing niche if they want.

When people think of doing business on the Internet they start looking for information on the subject. They get on some lists and all they ever see is Internet marketing products being promoted. This is because they are being targeted for that niche. They are being sold Internet marketing products over and over again because they aer interested in that field.

Many people get stuck in the IM niche. They might take an excursion into another niche for a short time but they are still signed up for the Internet marketing lists so they get sucked back in and start focusing on that niche again. Dylan says "there are so many other niches that no one is paying attention to".

It's important for people to focus on one niche. Whether they become successful or not they need to stick with it until they have given it a fair chance. THEN they should move on to another niche. First, start off in a non-Internet-marketing niche. Get your feet wet. Get some experience. When you have achieved some success and gaind some experience you can go back to the Internet marketing niche.

Focus and take action. That's the key to success. "Don't over-analyze the situation." Get a little understanding and just take action. If you take small steps you can't go too far wrong. If you find that something is working, do more of it and spend more money on it. Drop what doesn't work. If you expect to learn, you have to get started doing something first. Dylan says "don't spend so much time trying to think of all the possible ways to be perfect".
